Leonard Firestone’s Mock Draft 1.0

Hey Titans fans! Since we now know who our GM and head coach is, I figured it was the perfect time to do my first mock draft so without further ado here is my first 2024 NFL mock draft for the Tennessee Titans.

**Round 1, Pick 7: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame**

Kicking off with Joe Alt, a standout offensive tackle from Notre Dame. Alt has been a wall in pass protection showcasing impressive skills in keeping defenders at bay. His presence on the Titans’ line could be a game-changer providing much needed protection for our quarterback. Alt’s ability to maintain a strong pocket is exactly what the Titans need to elevate their offensive gameplay.

**Round 2, Pick 38: Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina**

Xavier Legette, the dynamic wide receiver from South Carolina, is next. With his blazing speed and exceptional catch radius, Legette has been a field-stretching threat bringing versatility to the receiving corps. His addition would complement the Titans’ offensive arsenal offering a deep threat capability that the team has been striving for. Legette’s knack for making big plays is something the Titans could greatly benefit from.

**Round 4, Pick 102: Khyree Jackson, CB, Oregon**

Khyree Jackson, the cornerback from Oregon, brings height, agility, and a competitive edge to the table. His ability in man coverage is notable, and he could significantly bolster the Titans’ secondary. Jackson’s skills in disrupting passes and tackling make him an ideal candidate to strengthen our defensive backfield.

**Round 5, Pick 139: Malik Mustapha, S, Wake Forest**

Safety Malik Mustapha from Wake Forest is an explosive and tenacious defender. His impressive range and physicality could provide a substantial boost to the Titans’ secondary. Mustapha’s aggressive style of play and ability to cover ground quickly would be a valuable asset in solidifying the defensive backline.

**Round 6, Pick 166: Justin Eboigbe, DT, Alabama**

Justin Eboigbe, a robust defensive tackle from Alabama, is known for his run-stopping prowess and powerful block-destruction skills. His addition could be crucial for the Titans, especially in enhancing the defensive line depth and adding a resilient force against the run.

**Round 7, Pick 193: Josiah Ezirim, OT, Eastern Kentucky**

Josiah Ezirim, another offensive tackle prospect from Eastern Kentucky, stands out with his impressive size and developmental potential. His raw talent and physical attributes could make him a valuable developmental project for the Titans, particularly in reinforcing the offensive line.

**Round 7, Pick 217: Isaiah Williams, WR, Illinois**

Lastly, we have Isaiah Williams from Illinois. A wide receiver known for his electrifying playmaking abilities, Williams has shown he can be a significant run-after-catch threat, something the Titans could leverage in diversifying their offensive strategy.

Each of these picks addresses specific needs for the Titans from bolstering the offensive and defensive lines to adding depth and dynamism to the receiving and secondary units. This mock draft paints an optimistic picture for the Titans potentially setting the stage for a powerful and more balanced team in the upcoming season. Let me know what you grade my first mock draft for the 2024 draft.
