You never know what people are going through in life. The smallest things can make a person’s day. That was exactly the case for the winner of our autographed Jeffery Simmons jersey giveaway, Myles Morrison.
On our 100th episode of the Titans Colosseum Podcast, we announced the winner of the giveaway. The winner was selected by a series of wheel spins with each social media platform on the wheel.
The first round of spins, we chose to spin the wheel until we got 2 platforms to hit twice. It came down to Facebook and YouTube Super Chats. The next round of spins, we had a best of 3 spin off in which Facebook came out on top.
Once it was determined that the winner would come from Facebook, we decided to go with the 19th comment on our post the night before our 100th episode. We chose to go with the 19th comment because it represents the pick in which the Titans took Jeffery Simmons in 2019.
Myles watched most of the 100th episode, but decided to go to bed early. We sent Myles a message telling him that he had won the giveaway. We got a message back from Myles at 6am the following morning. He was in shock. He actually thought he was being scammed.
Our cohost Marako Taylor agreed to meet Myles to present him with his autographed Jeffery Simmons jersey on Tuesday afternoon. Myles and Marako had a brief but great conversation together. Marako said that the jersey is in a loving home. Myles was very excited but thankful.
