Titans Fall To The Colts 20-17

Let me start off by saying, WHAT A BUNCH OF FOOLISHNESS! The Titans went right back to their old ways as they lost to the Colts 20-17. Today’s loss puts the Titans at 1-4 on the season. They now have to travel to Buffalo and Detroit the next 2 weeks.

The Titans were on an eight-game winning streak after their bye week. Things changed this Sunday as the Titans shot themselves in the foot throughout the course of the game.

Will Levis looked to be composed the first half of the game. The second half was a different story. Levis ended the game 16/27 for 95 yards with one touchdown and an interception.

Despite the loss, Tony Pollard had a solid game as he rushed for 93 yards on 17 attempts. He scored a touchdown in the 3rd quarter on 3rd and long run.

There’s a reason we said that we didn’t want to see Joe Flacco at quarterback for the Colts today. Flacco started off on fire. He led the Colts down the field on the opening drive. With wide receiver Josh Downs matched up on MLB Kenneth Murray Jr., Flacco connected with downs for a 22-yard touchdown.

Flacco cooled off a bit but was able to keep the Colts alive along with the Titans’ defense who committed multiple penalties on crucial downs.

The Titans’ pass rush was nowhere to be found, and the Titans’ secondary struggled to contain Pittman, Pierce, and Downs in the 4th quarter. Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed was flagged for pass interference while covering Colts wide receiver Alec Piece.

Sneed would later give up a big play touchdown to Michael Pittman on 3rd and 9 from the Titans’ 10-yard line.

Downs was a chain mover throughout the game. He ended the game with 7 catches for 66 yards.

The Titans had the smallest of chance to either tie or win the game with 12 seconds left, but their attempt at a miracle failed.

Where do the Titans go from here? Let us tell it, they are headed for the Sheduer Sanders or Cam Ward. You can’t win football games with a head coach who’s coaching scared and a quarterback that’s good for at least one turnover a game.

The Titans travel to Buffalo to face the Bills next Sunday.
