Will Levis Chokes In Week One Titans Loss

Will Levis has to cut the foolishness in order for the Titans to rebound. It’s just that simple. The Titans had a commanding 17-3 lead going into halftime against the Chicago Bears. The second half was a disaster on special teams and on offense.

Levis played an efficient game the first half. After Ryan Stonehouse had a punt blocked which led to it being returned for a touchdown, things went downhill from there. The Bears cut the lead down to 17-13 early in the fourth quarter on a 50-yard field goal by Cairo Santos.

Later on in the fourth quarter, Levis fumbled on a sack setting the Bears up in great field position. I’m not giving away any game balls in a loss, but the Titans’ defense stood tall once again. They were able to hold the Bears to another field goal which made the score 17-16.

Levis not only wasn’t successful in holding off the momentum of the Bears, but he also handed Chicago a touchdown after a throw out of sack interception to DB Tyrique Stevenson. Chicago would go on to score a two-point conversion and just like that, the Titans were down 24-17.

With one last chance to keep the game alive, Levis threw another late interception that sealed the game for the Bears. Today’s game was a typical Titans loss. Special teams mistakes and Will Levis’ terrible late game decision making kept the Titans from winning on the road today.

IT’S WEEK ONE. BE MADE BUT DON’T PANIC!!!
