It’s Wednesday, so it’s time to move on to the Jets. We’ve been whining about Will Levis against Chicago long enough. Even though some us fans don’t have a short memory when it comes to in game mistakes, it’s a must have ability for the players.
During today’s media availability, Will Levis opened up about his feelings after last Sunday’s meltdown in Chicago.
“I didn’t really lose sleep over it”
I know it sounds crazy, but no one should have an issue with this. Levis followed it up by saying in the past, he would’ve allowed that type of game to get to him for days or weeks. He added that he has improved that part of his game and doesn’t dwell on it.
Titans’ fans have every right to be frustrated at Levis right now. Some of you might not even give a damn what he says. That is cool as well. For everyone that’s taking what he said out of context though, stop it. Professional athletes have to be able to move on faster than everyone else. Me personally, I don’t want to hear anything else about Chicago. As a matter of fact, I don’t want to hear anything else at all.
Will Levis needs to show everyone that he has learned from his mistakes and ball the hell out this Sunday in the home opener against the New York Jets. Despite losing to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football, the Jets have star players throughout their defense. Those players will be looking to bounce back against the Titans offense which struggled in pass protection week one.
Levis needs to be on point mentally going into this game. Jets edge rusher Jermaine Johnson has his sights set on putting pressure on Levis early.
“He’s a talented athlete and can throw the ball pretty well, but just watching film and just understanding some things about him, especially when he comes out, he’s one of those guys that, when things aren’t going his way, he kind of can panic a little early.”
The Titans face the New York Jets at home this Sunday at 1pm/12pm CT.
