The Tennessee Titans have a lot of holes in their roster for the 2024 Season, the WR position is most definitely one of them. The Titans have the number 7 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. In my personal opinion, the Tennessee Titans should go LT but, what if they shock the fanbase and do the unthinkable?
New Titans Head Coach Brian Callahan comes from the Cincinnati Bengals, and they have a recent history of drafting an elite WR over a LT. My Question is, would Callahan and Ran be opposed to doing the same thing in Tennessee?
I think everybody can agree that Marvin Harrison Jr is a generational WR. The Fred Biletnikoff Award Winner had 67 catches, 1211 yards, and 14 TDs this season. These are elite numbers in the NFL and College level. Do you think the Titans have a legitimate chance to snag Marvin Harrison Jr if the board fall in their favor?
I actually believe the answer is yes because if you look at the top 3 picks in the NFL Draft, it’s looking like every single one of them is choosing a QB. Chicago probably moves on from Fields and chooses Caleb Williams, Washington with a new coach and new direction chooses Drake Maye, and New England with a new coach and obvious change chooses the Heisman Trophy Winner Jayden Daniels. The Real Question comes down to Arizona who is in need of talent on the Oline and WR. Do they pass on Marvin Harrison Jr for Oline help?
In My Opinion, I say they pick Marvin Harrison Jr and move on but if they don’t and Marv makes it to 5, I think the Titans need to trade up and have the guy you build your roster around for 10+ years. Marv would be the perfect replacement for Derrick Henry, and the perfect piece to change the Identity of the Tennessee Titans Moving Forward. He is exactly what we are missing to evolve as a franchise and compete with the rest of the NFL for Super Bowls.
This is nothing but a pipe dream but to say it’s not possible isn’t true. The Tennessee Titans need an identity change and need elite talent if they want a Lombardi in the near future. You would have your elite guy, and the stadium seats would be filled making the profit easier for the new stadium in the future. Like I said earlier, I do believe the Titans go LT in the draft, but this is a trade scenario that would blow us away entirely and have us set up for years to come. Hopefully Ran has something up his sleeve that will have us excited for the near future.
