It looks Bad Now but the Future is Bright

By RJ Ellison

The Tennessee Titans are a small market franchise with a passionate fanbase. The Titans are a physical exotic smash mouth football team on the verge of evolving into a modern age NFL offense. Sunday’s loss against the Houston Texans was heartbreaking Loss, and we learned a hard lesson. THE TITANS WILL NOT WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP WITH A HENRY LED OFFENSE!!!

Titans RB Derrick Henry rushed for a season low 9 yards on 16 carries against the Texans last Sunday.

The Titans can win a Championship in the near future with Henry, but his role must be diminished. I just don’t think he’s the Derrick Henry that ran the Titans to multiple division championships at this point in his career. Henry is a legend but if he wants to continue his NFL career, he must take a smaller role on offense. Now enough about Henry. Let’s get to the reason that I believe the Tennessee Titans have a great future on their hands.

The first person I’m going to start with is Ran Carthon. Ran Carthon has a lot of work cut out for him in the next offseason. The Tennessee Titans have a lot of holes on their roster, and they will probably pick in the top 10 of the 2024 NFL draft. The Good News is the Titans have the most cap space in the NFL, and they have found their QB of the future in Will Levis. Also, Will Levis is a 2nd round pick. His cap hit isn’t nearly as high as a QB that is picked in the top 5. The Titans have a lot of work to do. They won’t be able to fix all of their problems in one offseason. The Titans fanbase needs to be patient with this team. We’re not going to be contenders for at least another 2+ years in my opinion.

The last wild card of this article will be Mike Vrabel. I’m not a Mike Vrabel fan, but one thing I can say is he wins football games when he has a quality roster. Mike Vrabel is either going to make or break the Titans’ when it comes to winning a Super Bowl. He has to hire better coaches and learn to not be stubborn when things aren’t going to plan. If Mike Vrabel can fix some of the flaws in his coaching, the Titans have a very Bright Future on their hands. We’ll see what we are moving forward.
